Being selfish can mean a desire to take from others, without giving back. However, self-care is about replenishing your resources; recharging your batteries; and refuelling your body’s energy without depleting someone else’s.
Self-care is a means of restoring your own positive energy, which promotes physical and emotional well-being.
When you come across a person who has positive energy you know it; you can feel their energy and you feel brighter and more energetic yourself for spending time with that person.
Self-care is maintaining a healthy routine because it reduces stress, increases confidence, and gives you a more positive outlook on life.
You can make time to take care of the home so why is taking care of your mind and body selfish?
Never feel guilty about setting some time aside for yourself.
Self-care is vital, so make it your first priority of the day.
