Self-Care for Working Mothers
Women, especially mothers, often feel that their priority is to take care of everyone.
Many women tell me they feel guilty when they take time for themselves.
And for a busy working mother it can be that she just does not have the time to look after herself.
But you must treat yourself with the same love, respect and kindness as you would treat others.
If you do not care for yourself, your body will fail and you can end up with low self-esteem which does not help anyone.
Life as a mother has never been more pressured. Wife, Mother, Career, Teacher: really it is huge. It is vital that you plan into your day some time for self-care.
When we fill our own emotional tanks with self-respect and loving care, we have much more to give to our families, friends, and the world in general.
A Happy Mother is a Good Mother
The more you have, the more you can give.
The more you give, the more you receive.
For me as a busy working mother of 3 children my Self-Care was early morning exercise.
